I was in Florence and I thought buying some gold jewelry on the Ponte Vecchio was a no-brainer. The bracelet I bought... the bridge of dreams  Oh it is a wonderful bridge but it is more.It is filled with beautiful little shops jewlery shops with all sorts of lovely jewlery something for everyone.During on of the terrible floods in the... itz kool this place iz kool!! there is lotz uv kool thingz and the shopz r neat. plus, i like the guy at the shop that is the first on the right uv tha jewlery guy. the first jewelery guy. Suprise -Never to be forgotten!! We spent a week in Tuscan countryside in September 05 and loved it. We travelled into Florence to visit the Tourist Attractions on 2 days. Towards the end our first day into Florence we arrived... it is very interesting!  This old bridge is a "must to see" - it has an atmosphere of real history still living in our days. The shops are mostly high-end jewelry, so they are expansive, but the place itself... Florence has flavor I am in love with Florence. I was there in Mid-July, it was quite hot but still wonderful. The museums are to die for and the food was delicious. I hope to go back next year and do a lot of shopping... Amazed by Florence I was in Florence earlier this summer and I have to say I am dying to go back. I loved everything about it from the Ponte Vecchio to the Duomo everything had so much history and beauty. We ate... A Taste of History Been here, I stayed at Firenze for a week.
About the Ponte Vecchio, I like the river passing under it, the bridge itself, i like the place at night, all the lights gave a warm taste of Italian... Sounds Great! I really like this bridge i am doing a report on it and it is so intersting i love it, i really want to go there it sounds beautiful! I can't beleive that it has lasted all these years without... The Locks  The locks are placed there by lovers locking their love. Legend has it that if lovers place a lock on the Ponte Vecchio and toss the key into the Arno River, their love will last forever.
