Florence Reviews Spectacular! Florence is absolutely gorgeous. Being there is like being inside a painting. The people are friendly, the food is phenomenal (everything fresh), the history you can see just as you walk down... The Art Center I loved the accessibility of the art, specifically in the Uffizi, as well as the charming nature of the city. I loved the food, the people, the clubs, and the churches and cathedral. What a beautiful... Not for everyone I am currently living in Florence while completing a semester abroad. Before I left the states I had a joyous vision of Florence as this sophisticated city of art a beauty. I was a little saddened... Not for everyone The city itself is beautiful enough, and if you're going to be there for three or four days, you may very well love it. I stayed for a month in the summer of 2007. The first thing I noticed... awesome i loved it all..from the jaw dropping "Duomo" to the bussy "Ponte Vecchio"...its such a quaint city and at the same time so cosmopolitan, my husband and i loved walking the markets... Firenze, La dolce Vita I studied in Florence for a year and fell in love with the city. It is not only beautiful, but packed full with a wonderful culture! If you want to avoid crowds visit the tourist areas early in... What a Wonderful Place to Visit IF.... If you can overlook the price, rude people (esp for kids, from the country that makes Peg Perego??), terrifying driving conditions (if you are stupid enough to drive in Italy like us) and 3rd world... A Review of Florence Art, culture and history lovers will probably not want to leave anymore once they visit Firenze. The capital of Tuscany (Toscana) and of the Italian Renaissance (Rinascimento) is a big art gallery... Will never go back Florence just like any Italian city, dirty, crowded and univiting. People are very rude, espcially towards tourists. I heard shopping in Italy is fantastic, but I was really disappointed, nothing...
