Very beautiful. not as spectacular as the postcards  The Falls are beautiful, especially the Horseshoe Falls, but the illumination is so far away the colors are dilute and not as vibrant as the postcards show. I wonder if it is better in the winter... Nowhere near as pretty as the pictures  The nightly illumination of the falls is a great free attraction and when they have fireworks, it is great, however, the pictures, posters & postcards we all see of the brightly colored (almost... cheesy but free If they're going to light the falls, then keep them lit until the sun comes up. At any rate, the colors detract from the natural beauty of the water. The only colors we need are the naturally... Wonderous Niagara Falls is an awe-inspiring site. The falls at night is nice, but it all depends how humid it is. Get there on a dry night and it will be much nicer than on a humid, hot one. But it free, so whenever you go its worht checking out!
