The kids loved all the animals and rides. The shows where great. The kids really had a great time. Rip Off This park is old and run down. Rides were not even running when park opened at 9:00. Very expensive and just not enough to see and do. Don't waste your time or money. My kids ages are 15, 13... A nice experience overall! We had been to Marineland several years ago and returned his August with our 10 year old (he was 3 the last time we we vacationing here). He and our just-turned 16 year old LOVED petting and feeding... A good day out for younger kids... This is not Disney or Universal. Teenage kids who have been to Orlando may be dissappointed.
But this is missing the point.
Our kids are 12 and 10, and for families similar to this, this is a... WALK TILL U DROP TOO MUCH WALKING NOT ENOUGH TO DO TOO MUCH MONEY FOR WHAT YOU DONT GET. FOOD WAY TO MUCH YOU WILL END UP GOING HUNGRY. BATHROOMS DIRTY AND UN ATTENTENDED. WOULD NEVER GO BACK Go for the animals, not the rides Marine Land was a place that I'd wanted to go since I was a little kid and saw the walrus on all of the commercials. Unfortunately, I waited until I was into my 20s before going. I think that... Never again. What I disliked:
Expensive vs. other comparable venues.
Poor signage, needs more direction- I and twenty other people stood in the wrong line to get tickets to feed the whales for twenty... Great for young children We visited in mid-August 2005 with our children of 8, 3, & 2. The park is very clean, waits are minimal at the attractions and walkways are spread out to avoid crowding. Bring along walking shoes... fun day fun to feed and pet the whales, nice mix of rides and animal attractions, only one roller coaster and sky screamer, but both pretty good. Nice to get to feed almost all the animals, and the show... great way to spend a day I love Marineland because not only are you seeing shows but you are learning about the animals themselves. A big attraction, for me, is that you get to pet the whales. No where else in the world...
