The Art Nouveau collection is very extensive... Best Art Museum In Paris THIS IS THE BEST ART MUSEUM IN PARIS (possibly the World!) BAR NONE. Forget the Moanalot Lisa (90 Japanese heads looking at an armoured glass frame with something in). If you want to be in a room... The best museum in Paris As some others have said, I like the Orsay better than the Louvre. To the average person, not an art historian but a casual lover of art, you get to see more "famous" painters and paintings... Perfect, to visit again Respecting the past and honouring the present and the future. Multi-cultural France (with so many... emigrants) remains on the top and Paris is the capital of all the counties (sorry). Don't miss this My favorite museum. Wonderful art - especially the impressionist holdings - artfully displayed in an amazing architectural environment. Delightful views on every level, at every turn. And a decent... My Favourite Museum in Paris To enter Musee D'Orsay is to be taken into different world. The first thing that strikes you is the architecture, the transformation of the old railway station to this imaginative museum.
... My favorite Paris museum! This is a medium sized museum in an old railway station, ideally suited for the display of art due to the wonderful light. You can easily tour it in a few hours; not the all day/week trek that... Louvre 2.0 The Musee d'Orsay picks up where the Louvre leaves off. If you are a lover of Impressionist painting (or pre or post Impressionist) this is a must-see.
As you would expect, there's room... Ohh La La Paris! I visit Paris each year and always go to this my favorite Musee d'Orsay. I like it since it is smaller than the Louvre and housed in a historic building. Color me there any day! Loved It Our favorite museum with such a great variety of art and very well organized. Highly recommend it. Also buy the Museum Pass, it is well worth it.
