Anotoni Gaudi has dedicated... a must see for Barcelona Loved it. However, a lot of it is still under construction, so be prepared for cranes in your pictures. I highly suggest taking the elevator to the top, it's only 2 Euros and the view is spectacular... Transcendental experience Probably my favorite place to visit in the world, and it's in my favorite city. While you are in Barcelona, be sure to see all of the other Gaudi sites. To beautiful for words I visited Barcelona in 2003 and saw the Sagrada Familia as part of a trip going all over Spain. I have to say that this was my favorite location, I was in awe at the amazing detail of the building... beautiful building very beautiful building, be sure to bring your cameras. the detail is amazing.
only draw back is the price, 8 euros to get in and 2 euros to take a lift to the top, which seems ok except you... An eyesore...in a good way. This church is absolutely amazing. My friend and I spent 2 hours in it and we didn't even see all of it. I can't wait for it to be finished. The eyesore part goes for the scaffolding and... WOW!! I've been to alot of churches in Europe so being here was just amazing. To see something on this grand scale in the middle of construction is really crazy. I don't think I will ever see... Great Iliked that it was left in the structure it was bulit and that you could go on a tour in it and it was very preety and detailed and big. Wow! Imposing and magnificent. The vision that Gaudi had for this place is really awe inspiring. You can see it for miles and miles and - up close - it is a sight to behold. No trip to Barcelona is...
