THERE WAS STAMP & COIN STORES ALL AROUND THE PLAZA by a yahoo person the best thing about the place is that there is alot of stuff going on. like at night you just see people dancing,singing,and mostly shoping.i had a great time in madrid even at the plaza mayor. Very enchanted  its a wonderful sight to visit with the family. Nice view, nice history, and low price. São 3 casas conjugadas que ficam a 100m da praia. Ideal para reunir parentes e amigos, mantendo sua privacidade... Lots of souvenirs stores  Yep, thats rite.....I think I've bought all my souvenirs in this place. Most of them.
It's nice there and u can just chill by the fountain and make lots and lots of cool pics...
Pple aren... have lunch there..then go back at nite Lunch for 2 with outside sitting was under 12 euros. Just walking through the square you can buy a piece of artwork or better yet have one painted. This is a very large square and at nite it is... Take me back to the Plaza Mayor! As a student at the University of Madrid Complutense, I spent many hours in and around the Plaza Mayor.
