And there is only one word that truely discribes it and as I said before that word is unique. It is the heart and sould of Barcelona. There is no way you can miss it. There... Great place to stroll I make frequent trips to Barcelona, and every time I'm drawn to Las Ramblas. It's a wonderful place to walk in the springtime with its flower vendors, outdoor cafes, mimes, magicians, and... Highly recommended Great place to establish a homebase. Plenty of relatively cheap hostels and pensions surround Las Ramblas. Enthusiastic nightlife, and abundance of Moracan's pushing "hashish" everywhere... Great place! This is one place you must visit in Barcelona. Plenty of shops, restaurants in beautiful parklike setting. Enjoy! By the way, wear confortable shoes! Great! Everything here is great, the buildings, the people, live statues....
Keep your eyes pealed for the surounding buildings, but keep one eye on your stuff, pickpokets are really skillfull here, normally... best summer of my life! i spent two months living in barcelona last summer with my boyfriend and three friends and it was the best thing i have ever done. the whole experience was brilliant and i wouldn't change a... Cool central spot for hanging out There's no avoiding the Rambla if you go to Barcelona, so you may as well enjoy it. I arrived in Barcelona at around 9pm at night and was so jet lagged, that I should have just plopped into bed in our hotel off the Placa de Catalunya, but the energy and excitement of Las Rambas...
