It's a wonderful place to walk in the springtime with its flower vendors, outdoor cafes, mimes, magicians, and... Highly recommended Great place to establish a homebase. Plenty of relatively cheap hostels and pensions surround Las Ramblas. Enthusiastic nightlife, and abundance of Moracan's pushing "hashish" everywhere... Great place! This is one place you must visit in Barcelona. Plenty of shops, restaurants in beautiful parklike setting. Enjoy! By the way, wear confortable shoes! Great!
