Take lots of water with you in the summer time and take your... tector Fabulous desert scenery. Many westerns filmed here in the past. Views change constantly as you make the 13 mile loop. Restroom are available along the route. Wild burros walk up to your car. breathtaking the drive was inspiring, the beauty abundant,

If you can't get to the Grand Canyon, at least see this.
The best value in Las Vegas. Great place to hike!! Unfortunately, for long-time locals like us, we're a little bit disappointed that the park is now fee-based. And be guaranteed to find crowds on weekends! Nice place to ride September through... Red Rock Canyon! It is such a short drive from the strip and yet you feel like you are a million miles away from everything. Should you be seeking "piece of mind" or a breathtaking bit of scenery, then... It`s AWESOME!!!!  It`s fun,you would never want to leave,and people there are friendly,so you could even make friends.Go there in about early spring because it`s not to hot or cold in that time of year. Unbelieveable If there ever was a reason to rent a car while in Las Vegas, Red Rock Canyon would be it.
Pack your hiking shoes or sneakers and get out of the smoke filled casinos. Get back to mother nature... Best part of Vegas Vacation Beautiful park--a nice change from the Las Vegas strip--13 mile drive with many opportunities to take pictures. Also many hiking trails for all abilities. Nice visitor center and clean restrooms This is a MUST when visiting Vegas!! This is a great day trip outside of the hustle and bustle of the strip.
