I learned what happened a long time ago about things that happened on the island of oahu. I think many tourists should... Hawaii At It's Finest! I purposely went on a Friday to take advantage of the noon time presentation by the Royal Hawaiian Band. They were fantastic! The atmosphere is so relaxing on the grounds. The Palace itself is... A Beautiful Palace...You MUST see IT! Iolani Palace is beautiful! We toured around Honolulu and thought that our tour of the palace would be a nice stop. We were certainly amazed at how well-kept, restored and furbished the palace was... Iolani Palace Besides having to wear paper booties...the experience of viewing the home of Hawaiian Royalty was unforgetable. I was lucky enough to have friends living on the island so the cost was minimal.... awesome If you like wood design, or are a history buff, this is the place for you to visit. This place is filled with Native Hawaiian Wood, Koa. The staircase is the most spectacular that I have ever... History of the Hawaiians I enjoyed the history and the beauty found within the Palace, but availability to view the Palace is quite limited. This is more for the adult than it is for those with toddlers since many items... Bookem Dano! A must see! Go early in the day before the tours fill up.
Friday noon the Royal Hawaiian Band plays free.
The tour is worth the ticket price but I think it a bit too much
A beautiful building... Beautiful The tour made me appreciate the monarchy and its history more. Real Hawaii The only royal residence in the U.S. Absolutley a must to see. Learn the truth of the overthrow of the Hawaiian monarchy by the U.S.
