There are the high rises and condos of Waikiki. It is very romantic Just an hour of your total vacation  It is nice to know that a catholic church is just right there in the middle of tall buildings. The church is always open anytime you visit. They have service 7am and 5pm everyday and more on Sunday... Non-Catholic Visitors- We Loved This Church !!! Hello:
The Tonga choir drew us to the service. The priest seems to care about the congregation, visitors and Hawaii/Pacific!! He salvaged an item of cultural significance that another church... Amazing! Go the the Mass, Catholic or not. The Church is absolutely beautiful and the Mass (service) definetly has a nice Hawaiin touch. It's moving. After church walk right to the beach for breakfast... Memorable Easter Mass 6am Easter Mass with the Priest wearing a Hawaiian Lei! The holy water Blessing was with an actual fresh picked palm. Even though I was on vacation, I felt I was at home in that church for Easter... an architectural tribute to Polynesian Culture When one enters this magnificant church, one thinks he or she is entering a grand Polynesian Lodge House. The stained glass windows are truly awe inspiring as is the alter area. My wife and I attend... We are going back 2007 The church is such a lovely and peaceful place. We renewed our wedding vows there just my husband and I. We went in and new this is the place. We have been back many times and can't wait... If it's Sunday, you gotta go! This lovely Catholic Church is located within a short walking distance of the Waikiki beach hotels - about a 10 minute walk. Their Sunday services are what you'd expect - a typical parish service...
