A designated National Park with rangers on hand to answer questions. There is a wonderful film presenting the role that children and youth had in the civil rights movement. There is a tour of... "SWEET AUBURN" AREA.
IT HAS SO MUCH HISTORY, THAT IT MAKES TEARS COME... very moving I did my own freedom walk from the city to the memorial. I found it very moving and very serene, the gift shop has some great items on the civil rights movement too. Worth a look if you are there... Can't wait to go back My first trip to the center was 6/30/06 with my church youth group. It was AWSOME! I was so moved. We did not get a chance to see everything, so my family and I are planning a family trip in... WoW Something we all should see, the birth house, place Doc. King played as kids... it great for everyone, i took my mom and 3 brothers and little sister they all had a lot of funn and learn a lot about... Excellent I thought it was great. The first time i went i was little and i was w/ my family for our family reunion. We were doing a WALKING tour of the area and as a lil kid i got impatient. Last time i went...
