There was something for all of us and the animals looked great. As a matter of fact many were little camera hogs. We are already planning our next trip there. I could not wait to leave  The zoo is so small, this is Atlanta,Ga it should be one of the top zoo's but I almost sure that it's not. I went once and never been back and I love the zoo, but not atlanta zoo. I love zoos.  A very nice smaller zoo. Being there in the winter is not the time to see any zoo at it's best. Some animals were off exhibit because of the cold. Many areas were under reconstruction.
... OVERPRICED The admission was way too expensive. It was almost 70dollars just for two adults and two kids. I have been to other big zoos, and this on is charging premium price for a much smaller than average... Yuck  It was awful. It had good animals but everything was a mess. If you don't mind food on the sidewalk go ahead and go there though. One Awesome Zoo! I loved the zoo there. There were so many different animals and the climates that were given to the animals were great. They were made to make the animals feel at home and be comfortable. I'... Zoo I have traveled to various cities and the Atlanta Zoo has one of the best Gorillia exhibits I have ever seen. So if you get a chance I would recommend you going to the Atlanta Zoo. Such a small zoo for a big city  On August 19th,2006, my husband, my son (age 4) and I went to the Atlanta zoo. We were truly shocked about the price of the tickets (luckily we got a discount for having membership from our Jacksonville... DELIGHTFUL! I have to to many Zoos in my life and continue to love this Zoo the most. I went several years ago when we lived in ATL and loved it. We just went this past weekend and it was better then ever.... Loved it! I had read other reviews and wasn't sure what to expect about the zoo. I was pleasantly surprised. First, there is plenty of parking and it's free at that. The neighborhood it's located...
