From the Gas Lamp District to Mission Beach (or do LA if you want a road trip) you'll have all you... I can't wait to go back!!!!! I liked the autmosphere there. Nice people, warm water, sweet memories... The first Beach I have ever seen Pacific Ocean! I will never forget this, I belive I will see this place once again! And... My Special Place What can I tell you, I love Mission Beach since I started coming in 1994--Its become a special place in my heart... the people, the food, the atmosphere and like no other... Try Luigis for italian... Great Place The first time I went to Mission Beach was in 1994. Last year I went twice in about 2 months. You have to ride the rollercoaster on the beach nothing can top it. The shopping is reasonable especially... I want to return and never leave!!! I loved mission Beach so much-everyone was so friendly and helpful with directions...the sun slipping into the ocean at night was amazing.I sold my origional hemp jewelry from Vermont on the beach... Very Relaxing!! We went to Mission Beach two different times during our stay in San Diego. The first time we walked around the park, and looked at the different shops. We then went to the roof top deck of Canes... Ahh the beach... You may or may not like Mission Beach depending on the day. Weekends are really busy in the summer so stay away. Mission Beach covers a wide area and there are many things to do from laying out... Free and easy A beautiful place to be any time of the year. It doesn't matter if it it crowded or deserted.. thre is always something to do and see. I'd like to go back I've stayed at the Mission Bay Tennis Resort, it was great, it's right across from Sea World, it's an overall great place to stay. we had a ball walking around and touring lots of things...
