My wife & I have been to PV many times, and we discovered the Los Muertos Beach area on one of our first trips to PV. We have spent many afternoons and sunsets at Burros Bar. A sunset at Burros... fun in the sun  Just came back from a beautiful and sun filled week in Puerto Vallarta. Stayed in Old Town and spent a lot of time on this beautiful friendly beach. White sand, banana boats, parasailing etc.... very nice We've stayed on this beach 7 times in the past 12 years. It's definitely gotten busier and more expensive as the years have passed. It's still fun and the best value in the area for... Location, location, location... I recommend Old Town and Los Muertos Beach for anyone wanting to stay in an area that offers all the best of what Puerto Vallarta has to offer.
