The beautiful Bow river surrounds the... more beautifull than before  the park is almost 100 years old and it has retained some of the old charm while becoming more hip all the time the city crew and restaurant people are all helful and happy great ice cream too can't wait to go back! its a great place to go, ive only been there once, i live in england,but next time i go to calgary canada ill be sure to go to bowness park again. its so cool and there are lots of things to do Beautiful Skating!!! My family and I LOVE Bowness Park. In the summer the bike paths and outdoor picnic facilities are fabulous, in the fall it's great for long crunchy walks through the leaves, in the winter the... Wonderful place for all ages The good thing about that this place is for everyone, adults and kids. Family/group gathering where everyone can meet and have good time together.A beautiful peaceful side walk on the river. Ducks... been there done that. why did i like bowness park ...(because i live in bowness for 1..lol...Second it is one of the most cosy/active,(some privacy if to choose so) parks in Calgary.I concider bowness park number #1... Amazing This park is amazing. Clearly one of the most pleasant parks around. Great location, and attractions. Not overly commercialized, but still maintained nicely.
There were a few areas under rennovation... Phenomenal!!! This is one of the most beautiful parks I have ever seen.
