Make sure you go early!  
I loved Tower of London. I highly recommend getting a headseat when you get inside. It adds so much to the experience. You get a fuller picture of the history and importance of your surroundings...

The Yeoman Warders are awesome  
Loved my tour around the Tower of London. The Yeoman Warder (beefeater) guide was so knowledgeable, I found out that they have to take a 6 month course to learn the entire history of the place....

A lot of variety.... more than I expected. We bought a London Pass (I recommend this highly!!) and admission was then free and fast. We joined a small tour led by one of the Beefeaters. It was interesting...
