Elephant ride - excellent!!  We took the Elephant Trek - 45 minute tour in November, 2006. Pick up at hotel was excellent! The trek was great....you get up close with the elephants, meet baby elephants, learn about conservation... Siam Safari Elephant trekking From the pickup at our hotel to the drop off... this was a very well run operation, making it most enjoyable. Our guide was very thorough in her knowledge of the various portions of the tour and... Wheelchair welcome! They took my paralyzed husband up onto an elephant and we rode with the tour group the whole way! Then we saw elephants painting and bought one, curry making and tried some, had an amazing seafood... boring  it had no apeal to me and i didnt enjoy it people who like nature would enjoy it but i didnt maybe it would be brest to visit in spring when everything is at its best HALF DAY SAFARI - PHUKET The experience was absolutely fantastic.
