I would recomend to see it as a must, took most of... The Grand Palace - Must see  I was on a business trip to Bangkok in Jan 2007. I utilized the little time i had in the evenings to shop and on the last day, I had an opportunity to visit the Grand Palace. And thank god I did... Wow! Treasures all around! They know how to build a palace in Thailand....it's good to be the king! The architecture, jewels, gold, jade etc. are stunning to see. Make sure you camera is ready for lots (100s) of photos... The best place to go to! This is one of the best temples i have ever visited in Thailand, its beautiful, clean, and the price charged as entrance is absolutely worth it. Non thais are suppose to pay 250.00 Bahts.The gardens... Amazing Thailand All I can say is that, Grand Palace is truely a must see place when in Bangkok or else you missed a very important Landmark in Bangkok. Hot weather is the only thing that I dislike about this place... A must see But very little on indoor stuff, it is ALL outdoors so be prepared to sweat like a pig. The Temple of the Emerald Buddha is theer and is indoors but no a/c, you will sweat bullets while exploring... GRAND PALACE Its just an amazing site.its like a heaven on earth.the buildings are so decorative and so creatively done that one has marvel it. i guess it is one place not to be missed if u r in Thailand. THE GRAND PALACE I loved this place!!! It was open to all tourists, and it was the Queen's birthday..Inside the sweet pungent odor of inscense permeated the air..Inside the walled palace, was the Temple of the... Good place to visit I liked the Grand Palace. It lives up to its name. My only complaints is there was a man standing nearby who told us the place was closed. It is only open to Thai people due to a National Holiday... Beautifully maintained The palace is decorated lavishly and it is difficult to not be impressed with the fine detail and constant manicuring of the property.
As other reviews cite, the place certainly is gorgeous!
