The atmosphere is unique. This is one of the many treasures of Shanghai. It is a Must See Place. Better to go to Suzhou  The Yu Garden is nice but if you are spending a bit of time in Shanghai it's better to go see a few gardens in Suzhou, only about an hour away from the city. The gardens there are much more... Beautiful  This is a must-see in Shanghai. Located in the Old Town area of the city, the Yu Gardens are a wonderful example of classic Chinese gardens. it is the best garden i have ever seen. Beautiful gardens I loved these gardens. Even though they are quite small, it's a convenient downtown location, so it's easy to get to if you have a short stay here. I'm really into rocks, and so the... Beautiful even on a Cold Morning! Yi Yuan Gardens...
This place should be visited on a beautiful spring morning. Plan to spend half a day or more there.... If you ask me what do you have there? Well... Gorgeous greenery all over... Yu Gardens Spectacular It is a must see. Filled with a beautiful assortment of flowers and fountains. Very calming.I loved the walkways and the people there are just splendid. Although it isn't a great place for kids... What Garden The Actual garden, which i never been in becasue it is too crowded, isn't even noticable next to the shopping bazaar that has developed around it. If your interested in getting souveniors and... one of my favorite places in shanghai the yu gardens are a beautiful example of a traditional chinese garden, right in the middle of shanghai. surrounding the gardens are a bunch of shops selling souvenirs and arts and crafts. there... no...  Guys, if you decide to visit Chinese classical gardens, Shanghai is the worst place to go, and in contrast, the city of Suzhou, and the town of Zhouzhuang, both of which are only one hour's...
