- A little bit out of the way from the down town area and other tourist spots Save your money  A couple nice Hendrix bits, but other than that its like everything else about Seattle...overhyped, overpriced, boring. Not worth the extravagant admission price. If you want one of the computerized... Excellent for music fans  I loved EMP. very amazing stuff inside, including Nirvana's first recording contract with sub-pop records, hand written lyrics and a ton of other treasures, also there was an amazing Hendrix... Lower the price The EMP was quite interesting and the interactive portion of the museum was fun but I don't think it was worth the price of admission. I wouldn't recommend it to people on a budget because... I really enjoyed it! it is definitely a museum for folks who want to spend the time to fully process each display. In response to those who said it costs to much, do you realize that part of the admission fee goes... This is a great place for someone who loves music It is kind of expensive but it is a awsome place. There are kinds of exhibits from musical instruments to clothes from famous musicians. There are even instruments that you can play which my kids... My familys disapointment My father,mother and sisters all went to the,EMP and I tell you what a let down,my father is in the EMP.EXIBIT
and they did not even have his name posted,nor any of the other members in the group... A "Must " for anyone visiting Seattle I loved the interactive exhibits - the ability to listen to my own headset and dance around the place. There was not enough time in one day to experience all the great things about the Project.... Are You Experienced???? !What an incredible museum! I visited the museum TWICE in a week, and spent approximately 5 hours exploring each time! The section with the clothing from artists ranging from Patsy Cline, Jimi Hendrix... Not worth it There is simply not enough here to check out. Not for anyone younger than 16 either to hold their interest. I think this might be wothwhile at 25% of the current ticket price.
