This place was so beautiful, even it would be impossible to take a bad photograph. Mine turned out spectacular. I only wish my tour group had allowed more time to spend here! Japanese Tea Garden The Japanes Tea Garden is one of my favorite spots in S. F. It is beautifully planted and maintained well. If you need a little serenity, visit the garden! A GARDEN OF EDEN  JAPANESE TEA GARDEN IS A MAGICAL PLACE, FOR ONE TO REFLEX ON ONE INNER BEING . ROWS OF PLANT LIFE FLOWERS IN A MAGESTIC SETTING THE WALK THRU WAS AND AMAZING ADVENTURE OF OLD WORLD CULTURE .. A... Gorgeous, Peaceful, Delicious Yummy tea served by Kimono Clad Waitresses, Gorgeous well pruned gardens, ethnic sculptures. So beutiful, it's one of my very favorite San Francisco Treats! The Buddha Statue is not to be missed... A must see! If you are going to Golden Gate Park, don't miss the tea garden. It's beautiful, the tea is very good, and good snacks come with it. It's very refreshing, just to enjoy the outdoors... Nice stop off  Nice but relatively small attraction. Not worth going to Golden Gate Park just for this but nice to hit if you are also going to Botanical Gardens. Incredible Find Simply amazing. I'm writing this as a 23 year-old, straight male. This place is incredible. Force yourself to experience this out-of-culture experience in the United States. You should be... PERFECT!!! This place is wonderful. The fee in the front is worth every penny. The sights are gorgeous. The tea garden is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!
its great for all ages! its tranquil and calm. the area is... Recommended! Perfect for a stroll after a couple of hours at the De Young museum, the Japanese Tea Garden is a wonderful treat. I especially enjoyed the tea house, complete with authentic Japanese table settings...
