We have been to Panama a few times and are going again this year. Your need for vaccinations is dependant on your health history. If your regular Hep/tetnus is up to date I would not worry. Malaryia is not a serious problem (until you get it). Panama is not a big concern but you have to be smart and use insect repellant. Compared to other places I've been (Zimbabwe, South Africa,Nepal, Butan,Borneo) Panama is a piece of cake. Beutiful country, friendly and cheap!
