Question : Is it better to travel to Munich or Zurich?
Is it better to travel to Munich or Zurich? I wanted to travel to Germany or Switzerland. I wanted to visit Frankfurt plus both Zurich/Lucerne and Munich but I found out that I might not have enough time to visit Zurich and Munich. So I have to chose one of them. Is it better to travel to Zurich or Munich. Which one has more attractive places? Thanks in advance for your answers.

I personally like Zurich.I personally prefer Baun over Munich though.

Zurich...You can go to the Swiss Alps while you're there!

i have traveled switzerland as well as germany so in my opinion zurich is the place to go!

Munich, because you can still day-trip to the alps, plus you can visit Neuschwanstein Castle, which is in all the posters. Switzerland is also more expensive than Germany, btw...not that either one is cheap, though.

Switzerland on the whole is very expensive as they are not in the EU and thus can make the prices up! So I'd go to Munich (going to University there for a year soon, it's very beautiful)

Munich is bigger and has more stuff to do, but Zurich/Lucerne is gorgous. If you want to have stuff to do and lots of places to see definately Munich. If you want to relax and enjoy the scenery and the alps then Zurich. Switzerland is also way more expensive.

Ahhh! I abosolutley love Munich! I only spent a night there and it wasn't enough time at ALL! I've never been to Switzerland but its up to you make the best of were ever you go. If you got to Munich go to the Haufbraus house! :D Best wishes.
