Question : Hi, does anyone know information about Santa Monica College?
I tried contacting the college atleast 3 times in the last month or 2 and have received no response. I would like to know if I obtain credit points from their tourism courses or travel industry courses will I be able to transfer to a 4 year university and do hotel management as a major? I am an international student so I get quite confused with the system... also does anyone know any good community colleges I could consider applying to? that offer hotel management or other courses that I could do to transfer to a hotel management course? thank you...

All Answers: Answer #1 1st of all, any program you enter should be regionally accredited. Regional accreditation shows that the school has passed a review process that will help ensure that your credits will transfer to other schools and that you are eligible to sit for licensing exams such as the CPA, CMA, etc.Regional accreditation will also qualify for military and governmental guidelines.
