Question : Does Maui, Hawaii have much of a nightlife?? Should I travel there?
Im planning a trip, and having just turned 20, I wanted to make sure that there will be a fair amount of fun and busyness. I like the feeling of lots of people around. My friends would rather go to Maui, but I'm afraid it might be too tame?? Compared to Waikiki...Which island should I go to?

I went to Maui a few years ago and asked the concierge at my hotel where I should go for nightlife.......his answer?........Oahu.So to answer your question, if you are looking for nightlife, you should head to Waikiki but be warned, you aren't going to find too many places that will let a 20 year old in (as you must be 21 to be in a bar). Your best bet would be to Pipeline cafe which is located just on the outskirts of Waikiki in Kakaako which allows under age people into the bar when accompanied by a person of legal age until a certain time.Hope this helps you.....have a great trip!

after all they are all islands. If you're looking for a nightlife then better head off to Bangkok then on to Phuket (beach life). I can guarantee that you'll have a blast. Hawaii is more of relaxing atmostphere.happy traveling

I have never been to Maui before, but i have heard that it pretty dead at night. I mean Maui has beautiful scenery, but if you want to party and enjoy nightlife, then your best choice is Honolulu. I have been to Big Island and it's pretty boring at night also. Oahu is a tourist center and your best choice for nightlife.

None of above if you want real night life.Join USMC and ask to train on East Coast.Visit one little island reserved just for you.Fleets and other nice island depots await.
