Answer #3 My husband and I just spent four days in Copenhagen. It's a lovely town, full of friendly, English-speaking people. I suggest you search hotels.com and travelocity for a hotel. We got a room at the Copenhagen Admiral Hotel for $115 a night, and rooms rent through the hotel for upwards of $230 per night. The rooms were clean, a nice size, and the hotel is decorated in a very pretty nautical theme (it's right on the water). The Admiral is also about a block away from Nyhaven - where you can get canal rides and tons of restaurants. It will cost you around 250DKK, about $50 (by taxi) to get one-way from the airport to the Admiral, so I imagine that similar hotels will be around the same price. You can also take a bus, which would be much cheaper, but I don't recommend this with all of your luggage.Once you check into your hotel, you can walk everywhere you go. The Danes walk and ride bicycles almost everywhere, and a lesiurely stroll through the city will not only show you the sites of this beautiful town, but give you a great perspective of what is available to see and do, and save you a ton of money. You can do some great window shopping along Stroget - the pedestrian street lined with famous (and little known Danish) shops and bakeries. There are canal tours which I highly recommend - about 100DKK, roughly $20 and well worth it. You can also catch a sight-seeing bus tour. There are some that run from 1 hour to 5 hours and longer. You can take a tour of just the city to see the highlights or get more detailed views - you can even take a long tour out to Hamlet's castle. They run on certain days, usually only once per day. It seems like most of them departed around 11 am, so check this out the first day of your trip to plan ahead. They have a website, but I cannot remember - sorry. The bus pick-up is located across from Tivoli - another must see (if you arrive after April 13th). We were disappointed that they were not yet open.Try various restaurants in Nyhavn along the canal - they are all fabulous - we paid around 200-400DKK per meal, per person. Although you can do cheaper than that, if you are on a budget - we tended to get appetizer, entree, and desert. To save some money here, you could have a large lunch and then just eat McDonald's, KFC, or Burger King for dinner (although I recommend you try Danish food every chance you get!)Remember - water is not free, tipping is not expected (even the cab driver and waiters do not expect tips, and are excited when they receive even a small tip), and there is no such thing as a free refill. Have a great trip, enjoy your time in Copenhagen - it's such a peaceful and serene town where you can walk to almost everything you could possibly want to see and do. - answered by Kara P
