Question : Can i travel down from frankfurt to stuttgart by the S-Bahn?
Hi!I just bought a Eurail select pass for germany, switzerland and italy. I was informed that as part of the bonuses offered by Eurail, i can take free travel on the S-Bahn in the major cities in Germany. Therefore, i like to know if i can take the S-bahn from the frankfurt to stuttgart. What is the normal pricing of S-bahn tickets? thanks!

Answer #2 No, you can't take the S-Bahn to Stuttgart. They are in different "bundesländer" (states) and too far away from each other. I tried to get from Bayern to Frankfurt with an S-Bahn, but the S-Bahn in Frankfurt doesn't run further than Hessen (the Bundesland Frankfurt is in). I currently live in Munich and here the price of the S-Bahn depends on how far you travel. At the most the ticket costs 8 euros one-way. - answered by Athena
