Answer #2 Hi, I'm from Toronto area. Since you mention you've been here many times, then I'm sure you know of SkyDome, Air Canada Centre, SkyDome, stuff like that. Montreal -- People do speak English but they speak French. I've only been to Montreal area once so I can't remember too much about it.But I think you could order a pocket book to guide you in English to French just in case. My sister went to Quebec City. And she loved it.As for affordable rates and if it's your choice, may I suggest you sign up to become a free member to search for accommodation (they offer free) -- http://www.hospitalityclub.org/ .Websites: http://www.quebecregion.com/e/ http://www.tourisme-montreal.org/B2C/00/default.aspHope they help. - answered by thisisnotdel
Answer #3 #1 Apply for a passport now. It takes weeks for them to show up. Stop by your local post office for an application and get a picture done at the places that advertise that service. Its near 100 dollars to get a passport.#2 No, you don't have to learn french to be in Quebec they will make fun of you because you speak English as it is.. avoid Quebec its a mini France.. very snobby people not worth it.#3Go to www.canadatourism.ca for info on the rest of the country - answered by Tapestry6
Answer #4 Don't listen to tapestry6. There is nothing wrong with Quebec. I visit every year. I am from Toronto. I have always been welcomed and I speak very bad French. Montreal has more night life then Quebec City. And more people speak English fluently. We go there for the Comedy Festival every year and have a wild time. http://www.hahaha.comQuebec is for lovers! It is old and charming. My b/f and I went for Christmas just past. It was wonderful. The restaurants are fabulous. http://www.bonjourquebec.com/qc-en/accueil0.html - answered by Blue Girl
