Question : What is your overall opinion of Mexico City Versus Tijuana for tourist travel?
I am very familiar with Tijuana, but the travel time and costs of going to Mexico City which has direct flights, makes it an attractive alternative.What are costs like in Mexico City vs. Tijuana?Are there any worse criminal problems in Mexico City than there are in Tijuana?

Mexico City, being from there, is not the best place to hang out for a week or more. But, there is also also of historical buildings such as the cathedral built out of the stones of the great pyramid that was from the Aztecs. Right next to the cathedral there are the remains of the great pyramid. these ruins were excavated when the Mexican government wanted to build a subway and they found it accidentally. There is also the only castle in North America. The Chapultepec Castle. This castle was for A person of royalty of the name of Maximilian. This castle was just renovated and is a great place to visit. For as Tijuana, i don't even know the place.

I certainly prefer Mexico City ... and if you are on a budget, the B & B Elicar is SPECTACULAR. It's clean, in a safe neighborhood, cheap and they will even pick you up at the airport. Every room has a brand new bath. 011-52-555-739-1695.The owners are Monica and Roger.
