I am traveling in the fall and would like to start planning my trip/ side trips. Shopping is a big part of my travel so any markets nearby or shoes and clothes. What is the closest big city to shop in and how should I get there?

There is a factory outlet for the Chipie brand in Carcassone or its close suburb, se address belowChipie Stock Vêtemens et accessoires de la marque Chipie ZI La Bouriette - 9004 allée de Roberval - 11000 Carcassonne You will find most of the French brabds there and some non branded stores, the toursim office and your hotel should be able to direct you to the "shopping streets"
