Answer #8 Never gone to one myself, but some of my friends did (a male-female couple). They said it's considered bad etiquette to wear clothing on a nude beach, you gotta get naked too - otherwise it looks like you're just there to check out naked people. No cameras are allowed. Try not to stare - while most people don't look so great - there are some attractive young women. My male friend said he could tell that other men were staring at his girlfriend in an "appreciative" way. I guess some of that is inevitable, but try to avoid it. - answered by Sass B
Answer #9 ok, we went to that private island. We had made friends with a couple snorkeling, then later saw both of them in all of their glory. The guy called out to us and we said hey...hi....then he said, "you know? Noone talks to you when you are naked." My husband said, "Well, it's kind of hard to keep looking you in the eye right now, and it's rude to stare, too." The couple laughed really hard.I have to admit, she was the ONLY attractive naked woman on the whole beach, and he was the ONLY naked man. They were the only "intimidating" couple, and that was only because you didn't want to "Stare". - answered by mamacatto2

Answer #12 I've never been to one in Jamaica, but where I have been it wasn't an issue if I was clothed, because they are generally not judging, as long as you are just being natural and enjoying yourself. So, do what's comfortable and feels natural. - answered by straightup

Answer #17 Well....Jamaica doesn't always abide by the unspoken rules of nudism.Hedonism, for instance is not a nudist place....it is a place for hedonists where public display of eros is somehow deemed acceptable.Generally Speaking.....etiquette is....- No sexual displays- No visible erections- No staring- No harassing- No cameras- Pick up dog poop- Wear sunblock ;).....you can or can not wear a swimsuit.....however, you won't gain the trust of those around you if you keep a swimsuit on the whole time.Enjoy :) - answered by Sam
Answer #18 You know what helped me? Wear sunglasses that are mirrored. It made me feel like I was in my own world and if I wanted to check someone out, they couldn't tell what I was looking at. Just a thought. - answered by vik
