It all depends on how many days you will be there, how flexible you are on your travelling dates, and when you book your flight. Usually, flights during weekdays or on redi (ie. 1am flights) are cheaper since most people don't want to travel at these times. There are also package options which could include hotel and air, possibly even a car rental, and might be a better option for you. Also, a 7 to 14 day advance purchase is usually better than last minute, but some airlines might throw out some specials closer to the travelling date if they haven't booked enough space on their flight yet.You definitely want to be checking flights starting NOW, and book no later than 14 days in advance. If you see a decently priced flight, purchase it as soon as possible because it might be gone quickly. You could search for all of these options on my website.Let me know if you have any other questions: Linnette@MyStore4Travel.comPS - I also suggest looking into Atlantic City, NJ - they have casinos and attractions as well. If you're going for a short trip or for a quick getaway, maybe this would even be a better option. It all depends on the activities you'd like to do once there.

I have planned many vacations to Las Vegas from Dallas-Fort Worth. I have found that expedia, orbitz, etc. are not always the cheapest route. I assume you are just wanting airfare from your question so I would check with America West (now U.S. Airways). Also check with Funjet.com and Worryfreevactions.com. They do charter flights on ATA planes and are usually cheaper. Also if you travel Sun.- Thurs you will get a better deal. Also, the "expedia's" and "orbitz's" of the internet usually charge a booking fee. Who wants to pay that?
