Ireland and the UK operate a special travel arrangement whereby you don't need anything other than a photo ID to travel between the two countries. It easier if you carry your passport as your photo ID of choice.

it would depend on your nationality of course.. if you are from the US Europe or another wealthy country most likely you don't. But if you are form the Ukriane for example then you would need a visa..

if you are not from the EU... yes u will need another visa as southern ireland is not clased as the uk and therefore is another country. a few turkish friends of mine who live here had to appl to the consulate in order to abtain a visitors visa to tavel to dublin.... they had to have sponsors as well.. :(if you are from the EU or usa then u willonly need to proveide ur passport.

Answer #4
Depends on what country you are a citizen of. Your work permit would apply in BELFAST, as that is part of Northern Ireland, that is, the UK, but not in Dublin, which is an independent and sovereign city, part of the Irish Republic. Most likely you would not need a visa to travel to the Irish Republic for visits of less than 90 days provided you take no work while there, unless you are from some wacked out place like Burma or Burkina Faso.
