Question : I need to travel from Orlando, Florida AM and get back to London early PM on the same day?
I need to leave Orlando AM on the 9th March and arrive no later than 6:00pm on the same day in London. I have a business trip in Orlando which dictates that I leave on the 9th but have an important family engagement on the evening of the 9th in the UK. If I can get back by 6:00pm this will leave me with just enought time to make it. Alternatively I will have to make special arrangements to leave the day before, which at the moment is looking the most likely. Thanks for any help / advice you can provide.

I dont know how long it takes to fly to london. I have flown to Greece only and that takes about 7 or 8 hours. I would hop on the next plane to London immediately after the meeting. So figure Orlando to London would be 6 or 7 hour flight? You didnt say meeting time so lets assume 9am..9am meeting starts but dont know the time it ends. It could be an hour or as long as 3 hours or more. Roughly say the meeting ends at 1130? You would need to drive to the airport (distance of drive unknown so say 1 hour?) thats 12:30 sit there a while because of baggage inspections, and security checks maybe 2 hours? now its like 230 pm? and the flight takes 6 hours? you would be there around 8pm or close to it. Again, you didnt provide time and distance so this is a variable answer.

to arrive in London @ 6pm you would have to leave Orlando by 10am(UK TIME) at the very latest & given that UK is 5hrs ahead of Florida this means leaving at 5am latest so looking a bit bleak for you matey

All the flights are overnighters, so I don't think you have any chance

even if you got back in time you would be so jetlagged you wouldnt stay awake. ask if they can change the time/day of the meeting. i think you'll find it almost impossible to get back in time to be honest.
