Question : Guanajuato, Mexico costs?????
I'm about to return after many years.... How much are average taxi fares across town, dinners at restaurants like Hotel La Posada and other nicer restaurants, city buses? I'm trying to travel on a limited budget with some splurges. I've been to the usual restaurants, cafes, museums, etc. when I lived there... What are some hidden treasures I may want to visit??

hi. taxi fare should not surpass 10 dollars, even if you cross the whole town. an average drop should be 5 dollars or less.dinners should be 15 dollars per person or less (without alcohol). if you avoid the tourist areas (the more crowded streets and go instead to small alleys) you can get unexpensive dinners (for around 4 dollars)nice place to say is el rincón de los poetas, casa de los espiritus felices is super cool too. they may be out of your budget though. otherwise there are bunches of decent 3-star hotels.here is a complete listing

I would not go there it is NOT SAFE for US Citizens! Read the Department of States warning!
