Question : Does my baby need photo-id to travel to Dublin, Ireland?
flying to dublin, does my 5 month old daughter need photo-id, I'll be using my passport but she doesnt have her own passport.

Answer #7 I flew from Scotland to England with my daughter when she was about 8 months old and nobody asked to look at her passport (which was a real hassle to get!!) But I would check with the airline you are flying with just to be on the safe side, it would be a shame to come up against red tape on your daughters first trip. - answered by lecky

Answer #10 Unless you are travelling from the UK to Ireland, Yes every passenger needs a passport (not just any picture ID). Both my kids had to get passports before they were 3 months old, it's great fun trying to get the correct type of photo with their eyes open! Yes, that is a requirement of the passport office. I went to Motophoto to get the pictures and they had the baby lie on a white blanket on the floor and then the photographer stood over her and took the photo. - answered by Aine
