Answer #2 I've been there in February no fun. I'll be there again in July but anticipate it'll be too hot. What about April...should be nice weather. - answered by Snowy W
Answer #3 I agree go in June. Also, be sure to check out Boston Blackie's its probably the best food in town for an awesome price! - answered by John C
Answer #4 If you're flying in, don't count on geting there on time or leaving on time because O'Hare sux year-round. In Chicago it is either windy, snowing, raining, or foggy every day. I'd say September - try to catch a cubs game in the incredibly unlikely event they're in contention. Nice and cool there in Sept, but not cold yet. - answered by Captain_Ahab_
Answer #5 If you want to experience the Taste of Chicago, something that is amazing....you should go at the end of June/early July. It is a festival which all of the eatries set up shop in Millenimum/Grant Park (?) and you get to "taste Chicago"It's really neat and also you more hours of sunlight to explore the city! - answered by measjulie
Answer #6 Definitely beginning of June or September/beginning of October. Summer is way too hot and muggy, winter is way too cold, and spring is too unpredictable- it can rain, snow, or shine, you just never know. In September/ October you will catch Indian Summer, where it's nice and warm without the mugginess. Whenever you go, make sure you are prepared for any type of weather, because in Chicago it's nearly always unpredictable. - answered by Rebecca A
Answer #7 After 37 years of living here I would tell my friends to come in May. July is fun with the Taste of Chicago but it is so crowded and brutally hot and humid you might not have too much fun. May it is warm but low humidity. - answered by berta44

Answer #9 I love the City in the summer. There is so much more to do. In July there is the Taste Of Chicago. I love it. Granted it's really hot but, they just built the new Millennium Park and there are these two fountains that every one plays in. It's a fun way to cool off. - answered by Jay
Answer #10 Late May/early June or late September/early October are my favorite times of year in Chicago. - answered by Tirya
Answer #11 The best time for going to chicago like for events and stuff is the last week in june or early july. Events include tast of chicago, millenium park, the lake, navy pier, buckingham fountain, etc. It is a tad hot for people sometimes though. I would have to say maybe early june. This year maybe May with the weather like this. Also for after summer maybe a few days before labor day. - answered by lilvballdude21
