Question : Is it true that now Puerto Ricans need a passport to travel to Puerto Rico?
I was born and raised in Puerto Rico, But i am living in Pennsylvania and I would wanted to know if is true that we need a passport to go to PR

The answer is NO Puerto Rico is a territory of the USA and all Born in Puerto Rico are Americans by virtue.Feel free to travel with your License or ID.

No passport needed US territory.. I know it's for safety reasons,but having to now carry a passport to places like Mexico,and Canada..hassle....

no you do not need a passport to visit Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico is a U.S. commonwealth, which makes all Puerto Ricans national born citizens

Yes.Starting January 1st,it will be necessary for every one reentering any US soil to have a passport.

no no no no no and no.......american citizens do not need passports to enter Puerto Rico or the u.s. virgin islands nor do they need them to re-enter the u.s. after visiting either island...i am 100% sure !!happy planning,doda
