Will I need a passport for travel to Jamaica in Febuary?The below info explains what I need to know but I don't know where Jamaica falls into this.The deadline has been pushed back to Jan. 23. Passengers will be required to have passports when they travel by air between the U.S. and Canada, Mexico, Central and South America, the Caribbean and Bermuda. An exception to the new requirement is travel to U.S. territories, including Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

I just visited there and yes, you need a passport now.Jamaica is part of the carribean.used to be all you needed was a birth cert and a drivers licenses but not any more.

Yes you will need a passport to go to Jamaica. They are $97 last time I check but if you need it by Feb. you will need to do the expedient service which is a little more.Plus, your best bet is to get one anyway because by 2008 just to cross the border into Mexico and Canada you will need a passport.

Yes you will be required to use a passport. The deadline has been pushed backed to January 23 and anytime after that you will be required to provide a passport when visiting any of the above mentioned territories.

yes you will need a passport i've been to jamica twice in the past 3years and you should also take dollar bills instead of big bill becasue everyone wants a tip for everthing even if the resort is all inc.have fun and dontl leave the room without sunblock it not worth the pain fron the sun burn haVE FUN also take a pen for custom paperwork on the plane
