Question : Which Costa Rica Travel Guide is the best???
I am planning a trip to Costa Rica. I have read that just basing your research off of 1 travel guide is the best way to go......So I have narrowed it down Lonely Planet, Frommer's and Fodor's. Can anyone tell me which one is best? Has anyone used more than 1 of these?

All Answers: Answer #1 Frommer's has good reccomendations. Lonely Planet is good for surfers, but I used Lonely Planet traveling with my family and it worked great. Lonely Planet has good maps for each town and has a good range of bugets. Fodor's is a book for the wealthy travelers. I would personally suggest Lonely Planet. Answer #3 Every guide book is aimed at a specific type of traveller, so the answer depends on what kind of traveller you are. Lonely planet is better for the budget traveller while Frommers and Fodors are best for the more upscale traveller. As an all around guide book however, I would recommend the New Key to Costa Rica. - answered by yellowstone
