Question : Traveling to San Francisco ..and on to Napa Valley and hopefully to see the redwoods.?
Whats the best places to stay in Napa Valley that arent too pricey? We are spending 2 days in SF, then to Napa for a couple days and would like to see the redwoods, but unsure if any are in the vacinity of our destinations (SF or Napa)...any help?

For Redwoods, go to Muir Woods in Marin County, it's across the GGB from SF on the way to Napa.

If its redwoods you want then forget about Napa really, the best redwoods are near the coast. Head out into Sonoma county towards the Russian River. Next to the small town of Guernville is Armstrong Woods. Thats where the best redwoods are and tallest. Good hiking out there too. If you keep going north on Hwy 101 there's Richardson Grove but thats getting into Mendocino County.
