Question : BEAUTIFUL states to travel to?
I have been to Arizona, Hawaii, California, New Mexico and everywhere below NY on the east coast. I'd like to take another trip where there are gorgeous mountains, lakes, whatever. Yellowstone trip? Yosemite? Can anyone suggest a state to travel to or a couple in one trip? Things to do there?

Yellowstone. For gorgeous mountains? I went to Mt. Rainier over spring break last year, and it was really great. Just take a drive or hike up the mountain. It's amazing. While you're in Washington State, I'd suggest going to the ocean, too. It's too cold to swim, but just seeing the vastness of it is awesome.

Colorado is very nice, go in the spring unless you want to ski. There are nice areas in every state, you just need to go to that states tourism site. Here is one from my state: www.travelok.com

Vermont and New Hampshire in the autumn are incredible! There are mountians ablaze with the fall foliage, you can walk parts of the Appalachain and Green Mountian trails, near Burlington Vermont you can visit the Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream Faactory (very cool and there is a tasting room!). In New Hampshire the White Mountains are beautiful with ruching rivers, Mt. Washington and lakes like Lake Squam, Lake Winnepausaukee and Loon Lake.Make it a road trip and stay at B&Bs and enjoy the outdoors.Maine and Upstate New York are very nice too. The coast of Maine is very pituresque and New York's Finger Lakes region is beautiful

I like New York state, Oregon, California and Washington. I am burned out on Colorado. I think Oregon is one of my favorites there is a little of everything and no sales tax. The Coast Highway 101 is hard to beat.

Have you ever been to Gatlinburg Tennessee? Its beautiful and there is so much to do, Pigeon Forge is there and you can stay in Hotels on the mountain looking down at the towns. There is alot of information online about these 2 places and the best place to eat and see a live show is The Dixie Stampede which is owned by Dolly Parton. These areas are all decorated for Christmas and so worth the trip.

That's easy! Texas! We have it ALL. We have mountains, forests, dessert, and the beach(Gulf of Mexico). As we say here...if we don't have it...you don't need it! ;) But thruthfully, there is much to do in Texas....from old houses and the Strand in Galveston...to the world's largest dog racing track in the world in La Marque, the Riverwalk in San Antonio...and on and on and on. (Don't forget the Space Center in Houston)We promise not to let you down! :)
