Question : Other travel options? From LA to Lompoc(near Santa Barbara). Please help?
I plan to travel from LA to Lompoc (near Santa Barbara) , but thing is I won't be driving so I will be taking either a tour bus like Greyhound or a train (maybe Amtrak). Does anyone know other good companies besides Greyhound and Amtrak ? Oh yeah, no planes.

GreyHound will probably be the cheapest....it's 231 miles and no bus goes straight to where you need to be...Amtrack here is expensive i don't know about California5 1/2 hour drive by car..Too bad you couldn't find someone to drive ya..they could enjoy time down at the beaches.... you could offer to pay for their gas to get there...
