Question : Travel to Quebec next month?
We are planning to go to Quebec city mid next month. Is it too late to see the foliage? From the website, Mont-Sainte-Anne hiking trail has schedule till 10/9, does it mean the trail will be closed after that?

The website is showing a colour index of 80%, which I think means that it hasn't peaked yet, so you should be OK mid-October for the colours. The Mont Saint Anne website, does have a different timetable of opening after Oct 9 till the 23rd, when it seems to be open on the weekend only, due to fewer visitors and then after that, there will be snow, so it converts to the ski-hill, which is really neat, since you get water views of the St-Lawerence River as you ski down.

Mid-October is still nice for the foliage. The colors are starting to turn right now, and unless we get high winds early, they usually stay pretty much into the third week of October.

Well like most ski resorts ( i Live in mont-tremblant) they'll be closing down trails and ski lifts in mid october to prepare for comming ski season .As for foliage , you'll be a bit on the late side of the season .
