Question : Is the Marc Suites Hotel in Honolulu a safe place for a family to vacation?
My family will be traveling to Honolulu in December, and have tentatively booked a reservation at the Marc Suites Hotel. I know it is rated a 2 star hotel, but that does not bother me, it would be the safety that is a concern.

I think so. I've made reservations there for clients in the past. It was a popular family budget hotel. I've never personally seen the interior, but I've heard it was as nice as a 2star hotel....hmm. Just don't let your kids out at night by themselves......OK!? Unless you're into hookers and crackheads.Have a nice vacation!!

Well, it looks like it's right in the middle of all the action. It's down town so you'll have to deal with all the down town stuff like, tourist, some prostitutes use to stay around Waikiki. Probably if you don't try to look like a tourist you will be okay. The bus system on Oahu is awesome. We lived there for three years and used it some to get around. Have fun!!! I wish I were vacationing there again. There is so much there to see!!!

I stayed at the Marc Suites in Honolulu some years ago when it was owned by the Outrigger chain and I found it ok next year I will be staying at the Ewa Hotel you can find it on the internet under Ewa Hotel Honolulu it's also a 2 star and you can rent the rooms by the day,week or month I will be staying 2 months there have a nice trip Aloha
