Question : Where do i get a passport in New York to Travel to Austria?
im a 17 year old us Citizen and i was wondering where and how can i get a passport to travel to another country

Answer #2 You can apply at the Post Office sometimes, but smaller ones don't always offer that. Look up information in your county... in mine we get it at the courthouse. You need to have your birth certificate and under 18 you need your parent(s) with you. Look up all the details before you go.Your passport is for any time you travel outside the US. It'll be good for 10 years for any traveling. It's not specific to Austria. - answered by christiliz17

You may also have to obtain a valid entry visa if required in order to visit Austria.
