I would take the train, because it will be one of the most beautiful travels you will ever take. Check Via Rail for details.

It's not that far. You just aim west and go through the mountains. All of your suggestions re transportation are okay. I would suggest that you take the train, Canadian Pacific, for a wonderful scenic ride.

yes the train is lovely but if you want to be quick flying is about 2 hours (or was that because of time difference), and then arial view of the mountains greatyou could do both owa leisurely car drive with lots of stops could be ok, but would be nicer if you had someone to take turns with, may take 12-16 hours

driving- aorund 13-16hours.~ u get a spactacular view and its very niceplane- around 45-1 hour long.~ wesjet would be the perferred airlinetrain- about 10 hours~ might be alittle boring, but atleast youve got the viewbus-same as driving, 13-16 hours~ its just better to go on a bus because it might have t.v and you might have a more enjoyable ride. grey hounds would be the perferred bus.[ it has movies and a washroom]

Ohhhh the train! It is amazing going through the rockies! Or share a ride, it's not long, six hours to Revelstoke, relax, get a bite at The Woolsey, then keep going, six more hours...Westjet is good, but the only time it was a breathtaking view was clear night full moon OVER the rockies. Greyhound kinda bites, too long too many people and you feel your limbs atrophy as ypu go along...
