Question : how do i convince my mom to let me got to lake Tahoe??
ok my friend invited me to go to lake tahoe with her, her mom and another friend. my only ride up there is by my friends mom's friend. But my mom doesnt feel confortable letting me travel up there with him. But he's a really nice guy and he sometimes picks me up from school. i mean its not like im in the car by myself and him the other friend it goin up with the guy too. sooo...... how do i get my mom to let me drive up with him. and trust me i've tried every way that i know to convince her. so plezzz give me advice!!

Remind Mom that if your friend turns out to be an axe-murderer, she'll collect on your life insurance policy.

A good way might be to invite the whole group over to your house for dinner before the Tahoe trip, with your Mom there as well. Give her a chance to get to know these people, and find out for herself that they are good. Chances are, if your friend's Mom gets to know your Mom, they could hit it off and develop a friendship. This could make your life much, much easier.Also keep in mind that your Mom may not want you go for reasons other than trust. Perhaps it is a financial reason, or maybe she already has plans for that specific weekend.
