Question : Thinking of vacationing in Maui in July.Told Kapalua Villas by travel agent.Any recomendatons?
Im coming back to U.S. from Ukraine and want to visit Maui.My travel agent recommended Kapalua Villas, anyone been there or have better recommendations. I do want a condo setting, not a hotel. Havent been to this island so any sites we should see?We like relaxing but also romantic and crazy stuff to do.Not the normal site seeing. Thanks!

Hi:Our family traveled to Maui 3 years ago and we are returning in a week for a 2 week stay. We are staying in the Wailea area (again) at the ekahi condos. We love the Wailea area because there is a boardwalk that goes along the beach and all of the resorts for miles and in the evening you can walk along it and stop at the resorts for drinks and live music. Maui is a great destination for adventure! Check out the Bluewater rafting company for rafting to sea caves and snorkeling with dolphins. Drive the road to Hana for tons of waterfalls and swimming in the waterfall pools. You can also drive up to the Haleakala crater and go for a hike (or mountain bike down if you take a tour). We just love to go snorkeling from the beach in front of our hotel. Also a great thing to do-go to 'mixed plate' for some local chow. Well, have a blast! we may see you there!Aloha!

Kapalua Villas are excellent. Very nice, Kinda secluded, lots of greenery between units, quiet, romantic, great beach close, great restauraunts & other hotels to visit only 10 miles away. Lots of other great beaches within a 10 min -20 min drive. The Ritz Carlton & Kapalua Bay Hotel are within a mile. 3 great golfcourses & if you take a scenic drive north there is no more civilization, just country. Magnificently beautiful.
